From vines over 40 years old, this Pinot Noir is vinified in French oak barrels. It is powerful, dense and tannic. This is a wine that will age well, and needs several years before it begins to open up. Accompanies red meats, or meats in sauce, game and cheese.

Appearance :

• A fine colour, purple and garnet-red, brilliant.

Nose :

• Intense, with complex aromas. Notes of morello cherry and kirsch blend with torrefied nuances of coffee and smoke. A touch of eucalyptus helps to liven it up.

Mouth :

• The first contact reveals tender and round sensations. The mid-palate is fatter. The finish shows still tight tannins, and toasted notes. This Sancerre red has both body and presence. It shows good potential.
